Einsatz:
Blasen in Wohnung ohne Störung der Nachbarschaft möglich.
Daher ist das Üben zu jeder Zeit möglich.
Positives & Negatives:
Das Üben in einer Wohnung mit Nachbarschaft ist problemlos möglich. Es wird nur noch ein leises Brummel (ähnlich wie leises Radio) wahrgenommen. Natürlich ist der Sound nicht Tuba-like ;-). Der Anblasdruck ist systembedingt etwas höher.
Eine Tuba hat schon ein erklägliches Gewicht mit Dämpfer wird das Instrument zwangsläufig noch etwas schwerer. Es ist eine reine Gewöhnungssache. Das führt beim Absetzen anfangs dazu, dass der Dämpfer im Trichter vergessen wird und bei Absetzen wegen einer fehlenden Sicherung am Trichter beim Kippen dann herausfallen kann.

Alles in allem ein absolut empfehlenswertes Zusatzteil zum Tuba-Blasen-Üben. Daher eigentlich für jeden Tubisten ein muß, wenn nicht in einem freistehenden Haus mit großem Garten drum rum oder in einem schalldichten Keller gespielt werden kann!!
