Tonaufnahmen mit Querflöte gilt mein besonderes Interesse. Zum Vergleich mit dem V4 habe ich folgende Mikrofone benutzt: U87-Neumann, TLM 170-Neumann, UM70-Mikrotech Gefell, ML52.02-Oktava(Bändchen). Das Oktava ( Acht )hat mir schon seit längerem gefallen, weil es die Eigenheiten des Flötentones sehr vorteilhaft abbildet; jedoch ist es in den Höhen etwas zu matt. Die Großmembranen ( Einstellung Niere ) hellen den Ton wiederum in einer mich nicht befriedigenden Weise auf und färben mehr oder weniger in den Höhen. Das Schoeps hingegen scheint alles sehr richtig wiederzugeben, auch die bei der Flöte veränderte Klangabstrahlung unter f1 ( deshalb oft 2 Mikrofone für Flöte) bleibt unauffällig, d.h. für einen breiten Aufnahmewinkel bleibt das Mikro dem Originalklang recht treu.
Testbedingungen waren: Kleiner, gedämmter Raum, ca.1m Aufnahmeabstand. - Im Konzertsaal sind alle 5 Mikros gut.
