Iv'e tried a few different metal mouthpieces over the years (got a drawer full!) and never really go on too well (all were too bright for me). I've paired this with my Selmer Ref 54 and a 2.5 Vandoren Red Java reed and its gorgeous... need some time with it but it is already dark, moody and really free blowing. I love it
