Every time I use this mic, I get exactly the results I hope for. No bad surprises. It's both super neutral and still very musical in its reproduction of both percussion, vocals, acoustic guitar and even a russian balaljka. A highpass filter could have been pratical in some situations, but it hasn't been too much of a problem so far.
