Great for more than just Slash....

These are a great set of low output humbuckers for a Les Paul or similar - they're four conductor for coil tapping to get lovely split tones which are very Strat like.

The Alnico 2 Pros are great for vintage, smooth and soft tones. This neck model is lovely clean, slightly looser bass because of the alnico 2 magnet but also rounded off highs. This results in a really pristine and clear sound that's great for rock, blues, soul - you name it. Under some gain these pickups sound very fat and creamy - the loose bass and smooth highs again give a really thick sound. With plenty of distortion, they'll definitely do Sweet Child, but also Gary Moore, classic blues, thick solo tones with loads of clarity. Very versatile and one of Duncan's best pickups - I've tried them in a Les Paul and in a Fat Strat and they never disappoint.
