Better than expected
Bought this around 2 years ago to allow me to amplify my standard acoustic through a PA as a temporary solution but I still use it every week. Prone to picking up interference when going straight in so I recommend using with a DI. I thought that the cable would break easily but it's quite sturdy and hasn't shown any issues yet.
Only other gripe is that it can sometimes misrepresent one side of the strings. Lower strings might sometime be way louder than the higher register ones. The manual says this can be fixed by tilting the pickup but that rarely makes a difference.
If you dont have a pickup in your acoustic and you need one but cant afford another guitar or to install a proper pick up I recommend giving this a try.

In my opinion, pretty much the best way in this price range to get your guitar plugged! Of course there are way better pickups, but I am really happy with this one. In my case, sounds just great. Of course it depends on the PA you are using, how much, if any eqing do you need. I raised around 200hz few db and highs too, sounds pretty good. Considering it's single coil, it has pretty low noise level.
