with a banjo bass
I use this on a home made banjo bass or bassjo if you prefer and it works pretty well.It keeps a real banjo sound and deals perfectly with low end sounds of a bass.I don't know how it works on a real banjo but I suppose it does the job well (it's made for !)

Does what it has to.
I was searching for a way to easily amplify my banjo. This turned out fairly easy. I just released the string tension slightly, pushed it beneath the bridge and it works just fine. The jack I bonded to the body with the supplied velcro tape. The only thing is, I feel that the highs are a bit underrepresented in the sound. But that is rather a question of your personal taste. You can fix that with the equalizer (I only did not want to change it because my acoustic guitar goes into the same channel).

Banjo pickup.
Excellent value for money, gives good sound reproduction.
Followed the advice of a previous reviewer and fitted the pickups under the head inside the resonator with double sided tape rather than under the bridge on top.
