Great sound but not robust enough
I have previously owned the Shure SE-215's and found that for the price they were very good. I wanted to upgrade and researched a fair bit until I stumbled across the Shure SE-535's and decided they were the ones for me.
Within a week of receiving the 535's I had to send them back for repair as the driver on the left side had blown. I was frustrated but thought it would be a once off and I wouldn't have any more trouble. Fast forward to July and the same thing happens again, this time it's the right side driver. I'm very careful with my equipment and have never had anything else break but these in-ears aren't built to withstand thew rigours of live performance. The slightest drop of sweat gets into near the speaker and they'll blow. It's unfortunate as they are such a solid piece of kit aside from this one flaw.
