A good cable for Bi-wiring/Bi-amping

The Sommer Elephant 440 is a four-core copper star-configuration speaker cable that works well in P.A. or hi-fi applications. Each core cable is 4mm in diameter, and it will just about fit in 4mm Banana plugs without trimming any cable strands.
The outer jacket is thick and strong and will withstand quite a bit of wear and tear.
Sound quality is good, not quite as good as some more expensive Hi-Fi cables of the same construction, but for a copper cable it is certainly better than much of the competition at this price. I have been using it for Hi-fi applications for some 2-3 years now, so I have had time to properly test it against other cables, and for bi-wiring/bi-amping, it is certainly a good choice if you cannot afford to pay half as much again for the next step up.
I would recommend this cable.

Good for JBL/ATC passive speaker

I use them to drive my JBL and ATC passive speaker by bi-wire or bi-amp. It sounds great. More clear, more spacious and more detailed than SP260 cables.

Good quality cable that is very sturdy. Was great to wire up with connectors, and is nicely labelled on the cores so was easy to sort out the pin configurations.

Mittlerweile habe ich mehrere 100m von diesem Kabel es ist sehr elastisch und das auch im Winter was ich sehr wichtig finde. Außerdem ist es Trittsicher und sehr eng verseilt was zur Folge hat das es keinen so großen Gesamtdurchmesser hat.
