Another green pedal
This pedal is another take on the Tube Screamer type of overdrive. I have other pedals of this type but the price being so low and the compact format useful for a small portable pedalboard, I decided to give it a try.
Now, it is not an exact copy of the Ibanez original as it has a 2-position switch giving a "normal" setting and a "more gain" setting which also gives you more bass. Also, the settings and sound, whatever the position, is different: there is more volume and more gain on tap. Also, the color of the sound is a bit different.
The build quality seems good but I noticed the switch being a bit harder to press than usual. Not bad, just different. I don't know if it's the sign of a durability issue but it doesn't feel cheap.
Overall, considering the price, it's a good overdrive with an overal TS sound and some twist to it. So, yes, I recommend it.
