Used in blues junior 3, happy with the result
Had a fail in a power tube in a blues junior 3 after years of use with the stock tubes. Consider I am not changing tubes for any search for a different response or search of a tone in mind. Decided to buy these as they are pre matched plugged straight in no issues work really well. I cant say if they change the sound at all but I did reach for the bass knob and felt the need to add a bit more I am using a telecaster never the less they look and feel quality product and so far I am happy with them. Lets see if they last for years like the stock ones did. So in summary you cant go wrong for the money and the amp still sounds good after the install. Whats not to like consider though I am no cork sniffer in search of the golden imaginary tone I believe most of it is in the fingers anyway followed by the pick ups, nut and bridge material of the said guitar.

After many years of light use, I decided to replace the original EL84's Groove Tubes in my Fender Blues Junior Tweed by these matched pair of Sovteks. I think these are the cheapest or one of the cheapest EL84 pairs I've found at Thomman, but I was not disappointed in any way. I could not notice much of a difference in sound at low bedroom levels, which I did not necessarily want/expect. Nevertheless, I feel more confident taking the amp to gigs now and I kept the old original tubes as spares.
Order processing by Thomann and delivery were fast as usual, and the tubes were super secure and arrived intact. I can definitely recommend this product.

Perfect
I have Orange Jim Root Terror and I was looking for new lamps.
Compare to JJ and Tesla from 60's I can highly recommend Sovtek.
Much more clarity and dynamic range on clean and distorted sound then JJ. Slightly lose to Tesla but it's more than twice price.
Best quality/price and nice matched pair from Thomann.

Bold and Warm
I have used these tubes to replace power amp tubes in a AC15 style amp. The set i had before started making noise/crackles. These give the amp a little more "thump" and a bigger bottom end "warmer" sound. However it did not alter the high end responce so apart from a bolder/warmer sound they are transparent.
I have not noticed extra noise or other artifacts. I have not driven my power amp section into overdrive so i cant say what for sound these have when the amp is fully turned up (too loud for where i play)
So all by all i would say these are a good replacement for a overly bright (cheap/tiny sounding) or dull sounding amp.

Replaced Groove Tubes with these
These have been installed ina Blues Junior to replace the original GrooveTubes, one of which went crackly. I am not sure whether GrooveTubes are just rebranded Sovtek valves but these are doing a good job. The little BJ amp is sounding hot and spunky again.

Very good product overall
Very good product, however I'm still experiencing a glitch since I installed them (I use them on a Vox AC10C1 amp with a Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015): when turning the tone switch up I'm having a buzz. Still haven't figured out if it's the tubes or something else though.

Fender Blues Jr.
These tubes sound great on the Fender Blues Jr.
At first I thought they sounded strange, but they just need to be a little bit worn at the beginning (I played loudly for one afternoon).

Good Tubes
I replaced these tubes on my Laney TI15 (Tony Iommi Signature Practice amp), it's noticeable on the improved sound - more articulate especially when I play with clean sound, overall a pair of good tubes if you looking for an affordable change.
