Useful studio tool
It rips easily, it is white, and you use it to write on.
Handy around the studio for naming things, which can save time figuring out what is what. Surface leads to only very slightly bumpy writing, but this is if I'm being picky.

Good but not smooth
Nice tape,
I use it to mark mixer channels. The texture is not as smooth you could write on it with fine lines. Still ok. I like it. Not too wide. Leaves no marks on surface when removed.

Right size, so it fits everywhere.
Right texture to write on.
Doesn't damage the finish or paint on any product I have tested it on.
Cons
If you leave it glued long enough, exposed to heat or sunlight it still leaves glue residue when you remove it, but nothing than can't be cleaned quickly with an alcoholic solution.

Ideal for channel ident on mixing desks
Easier to use than white electrical tape for creating a scribble strip on your mixing desk to identify channels. Tears easily and can be written on with a Sharpie - not with a pencil or biro though.

Easy to use marking tape.
This is a ridged PVC tape, and I've use it for marking up channel strips on boards.
It tears quite easily off the roll and lasts a fairly long time. It also stands up to cleaning off a few times. But remember to clean in line with the ridges!

Marking Tape
Pros:
Very sturdy and affordable tape for many situations. Cut in small pieces and label anything or use it as stage tape.
Cons:
Not every pencil will hold its mark on this tape. I found some markers were hard to write on it.

Great marking tape.
This tape is very good for board tape etc. It doesn't stretch like PVC tape which means it wont pull back, once it is on your desk it will just stay put. It is easy to write on also and tapes ink well. Well worth the cost.
