I used a pair of these fixtures at a venue with about 150 people, and they had enough light power to produce great looking effects! Smoke is essential! :)
The mirror part needs protection if you move these fixtures between gigs, and you can't do "slow" scanning, as it's jerky on low speeds.

Adding some interest to your lighting on a budget
Taking lights from simple colours to patterns can be difficult as many light produce a tiny number of patterns with little control... the 'better' options are often much more expensive. These seem to fit well in the middle where you might not have significant sums to spend, but you want something with that degree more control and plenty more in the way of patterns. With both horizontal and vertical control, pattern (inc colour) and strobe choices over 4 dmx channels or the more simple hand controller these lights certainly add levels of interest without hurting the bank!

Lot of light for the money
This fixture really stands oit on stage with really visible beams. i use the on the stage floor and the beams go upwards from behind the performers.
The movement of the beams is done by steps so no smoth change of positions. But a really good fixture to use for effect.
i use it with a avolotes azure 2000.
