Officially approved for outdoor use
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 1x0.5m ODW, specifically designed for outdoor applications, has become a well-established choice within the Tour Stage system developed by Thomann's in-house brand, Stairville. Fully compatible with all components in the series, the platform is designed to stand on the system's robust 60x60mm legs, which are available separately in a range of heights, allowing flexible configuration for different staging requirements. Its construction combines low weight with impressive durability, making transport and setup straightforward. Certified to rigorous German safety standards, the platform offers reliable and compliant performance. Compared with the Stairville Tour Stage Platform 1x0.5m CPTW, the ODW version distinguishes itself through its non-slip surface coating, providing enhanced grip outdoors.
Non-slip and versatile
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 1x0.5m ODW is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use and can serve either as a standalone element or as part of a larger stage design. Its surface is made from a weather-resistant wooden panel finished with a HEXA non-slip plastic coating, providing secure footing even in more demanding conditions. With dimensions of 100x50cm and a height of 9cm, the platform follows the standard format used in professional staging systems, while offering a load capacity of up to 750kg per m². Despite its robust construction, each platform weighs only 12kg, making transport and handling relatively straightforward. Four integrated sockets, one beneath each corner, accommodate 60x60mm legs: The Tour Stage range offers a wide variety of compatible options, from fixed-height versions starting at 20cm to extendable legs reaching up to 140cm, as well as castor solutions for increased mobility. For larger stage setups, neighbouring platforms can be securely joined using dedicated clamps, ensuring a stable and uniform structure.
In every weather
The Stairville Tour Stage Platform 1x0.5m ODW is particularly well suited to open-air events and applications where exposure to moisture or challenging weather conditions is a factor. Thanks to its weather-resistant construction, it provides a dependable foundation for a wide variety of outdoor productions, including lectures, theatrical performances, and open-air concerts. An additional practical advantage is the ability to fit compatible railings directly to the platform frame, offering extra safety and support where required, especially at the rear of a stage or in low-light environments. This flexibility makes the platform an attractive solution for event organisers seeking reliable staging equipment, while hire companies benefit from a versatile product that can be used confidently across both indoor and outdoor events.
About Stairville
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name "Stairville" is also a catchy English translation of "Treppendorf", the town that Thomann calls home.
Perfect for an al fresco gathering
Anyone looking to give speakers, presenters, or DJs greater visibility at a private event can create a practical riser with just a few Stairville Tour Stage Platform ODW units and the appropriate accessories. The setup process is straightforward, requiring only the desired number of platforms, the right legs, and a set of connecting clamps to create a stable raised surface. For a low-profile riser, short legs of around 20cm can be fitted before positioning the platforms and securely linking them together to prevent movement during use. When working on uneven ground, extendable legs offer additional flexibility, allowing the height of each corner to be adjusted precisely with the help of a spirit level. With only a small amount of preparation, a professional-looking raised platform can be assembled quickly, helping performers stand out and improving visibility for the audience.
