Quality keyboard on the cheap

I was looking for a cheap keyboard for my kids to play and found this Startone mini on Thomann. It's been in heavy use since Christmas and I can say without reservation that it's done the job admirably.

There are lots of sounds to choose from (kids love the dog barking, I like the organ), decent amount of rhythm options, and some songs.

For a beginner player curious about keyboard and certainly for kids, this is a good option to dip toes in that world. While it's plastic, it's been very durable so far. Would not hesitate to purchase another keyboard from Startone.

Bought as a gift, I don't think you can find any better for this price. Sounds OK, plays nice, with headphones and batteries and small size you can just play it anywhere you like.

Je l'ai acheté pour mon fils de 5 ans qui adore les instruments de musique. Je ne m'attendais pas à une grande qualité, mais j'ai était bluffé par le nombres d'instruments disponible, les rythmes, les effets, le son etc..Je vais certainement lui piquer pour accompagner mes compos à la guitare :-D

Le terme Arrangeur pour décrire ce clavier est un peu usurpé ou alors j'ai loupé quelque chose. En effet il ne propose aucun style d'accompagnement ni de construction d'accord. Juste des rythmes sur lesquels on peut jouer des mélodies.
Mais je l'ai pas pris pour cela, heureusement sinon j'aurais été déçu. Non je l'ai pris pour avoir du son sous la main lorsque je cherche une harmonie ou une mélodie. La ca devient pratique et utile.
A noter qu'il peut aussi être utilisé comme clavier Midi (sans vélocité), donc un petit plus appréciable si on a besoin d'entrer des notes sur une piste. Le touché en revanche est très mauvais mais ca je m'y attendais vu le prix.
