Lightweight and compact stand, does its job well but is not for everyone.
This stand is a good choice if you wish to keep one handy but you don't want a product that takes too much space when stored.
This is the reason I purchased it and it surely doesn't disappoint everything considered: it is made of metal, you can adjust height, tripod dimension and even inclination of the sheet music desk, and it can be used even when sitting.
However the low weight of the stand, convenient when carrying it around in an instrument case, is the biggest flaw: the assembled stand is somehow a little flimsy, not very stable but overall not at all unusable.
It is an affordable, nice stand for indoor use but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to be used outdoors (for instance on live performances, on windy days, etc) because of the stability issue and the light weight.
The folding and assembling may seem a little confusing at first, but with a little practice it can be put together or folded away in less than a minute.
Overall for the price paid it doesn't disappoint: it suits well anyone looking for a stand to use indoors, to be compact, lightweight and easy to carry around.

A Chinese Puzzle.
We bought a number of these: Startone Music Stands, which come in a choice of 3 colours, Red; Blue & Black. It's a bit of a fiddle when it comes to erecting, & folding it up. Just as you think you've got the hang of it, frustratingly it turns into a Chinese Puzzle again. You normally find that you get what you pay for & although it is quite well made for the money, it lets itself down in its practicality of use. It is light in weight & does fold down into a handy, portable size. It would be usefull if it came with a cover to pop it into when not in use, or on the move, but for the money you couldn't expect one. All-in-All, if you are able to leave it erected most of the time, then it's a good buy, but if you have to erect it & fold it down regularly & can afford to, then pay pay a bit more for a more user friendly, music stand.

A nice-looking basic stand. Holds single sheets of music as well as heavy books. We chose this stand because of the colour (blue) and the price, and are very happy with the purchase. It's quite stiff though, but that's OK since we only use the stand at home and never need to erect and fold it down again on a regular basis.

Note stand
I wasn't too impressed with this stand. I haven't used it much. It's not really as stable as I would like it to be. I also found it to be a little bit too small where you place the notes, it doesn't handle books good.
But I guess it's okay considering the price. If you're sitting home in a calm environment and using just a few papers it might be okay.
Other than that the quality seems fine and the best of it all, it's BLUE!!!
