The plastic coating at the bottom disappears. The height, stability is quite good. It's only that the plastic parts that connect the smaller and bigger pipe can sometimes get stuck dismantling the stand. However I simply used silicone used in cars to fasten the joints. Otherwise you don't want to tighten the nuts to hard as that too is sensitive. Nonetheless it's a good much cheaper competitor to K&M as it can also carry heavy books. It takes the mighty bright light clamp better than others stands as there is nothing at the top. The only downside is that it could still fall a little bit more backwards to take an iPad, but the stand clamps reduces the risk.

It does the job
If you want a stand which will not go to day-to-day usage and you will not use along with a big sheet music folder, then I'd recommend that. Otherwise, go and grab one sturdier than that.

You get what you pay for
This is good for the price and it can be used for its intended purpose. It's certainly not the most stable of stands out there, but as I've already said, you get what you pay for (and I'd rather put more money towards a guitar, not a stand!).

Good for single rehearsal and practice
This is a nice music stand for the price. At the beginning it was a little harder to mount it due to the trusses that had been mixed out, but I managed to do it. Would recommend it and buy it again. If you are looking for something to use on stage, however, go for more professional ones, as the stability of this one is not the best.

Best friend of an orchestra member
As it folds easily and is pretty small once folded, it's easy to handle and carry around.
It's perfect for orchestra rehearsal and performances !
The only thing is that if you want to extend it to its maximum height, it bends lightly and loses its balance a little bit.
But besides that, it's the perfect companion for any rehearsal ! And for that price, I would recommend it to any musician, really !

Good Stand. I like them.
Lightweight, stable, strong and fits on stage anywhere. Fine for home use and live. It would be good if it came with a soft case for added protection when gigging. I keep mine in an internal pocket inside my hardware case. I bought four of these for practice and performance. It can hold loads of notation. Fantastic value for money.

Nice but light!!!
I used it outside, and it was the wind i know, but you cannot ask for a music stand to be cheap and weatherproof! I managed to put some weight on the base so it doesnt fall with wind and other fixings so the sheets of paper dont fly away, but overall i am very pleased with its height and the sturdiness.

Simple but good enough!
This music stand is actually exactly what you think you will get. The build quality is not the best but its good enough. It honestly does what its supposed to do without problems.

Does the job well
A light weight, well made stand. It can handle well some sheets but it will become unstable if you put a book on it. The joints are well made and it can get folded and become really small.
