great for parades!!

I am a professional trombone player and this trombone was the best option for me.
I have also a bass trombone that is not comfortable for parades.The Startone trombone is the best option for this occasion. Its light and good strong sound.
Also the package have a good quality case a low quality lubricant and white gloves.
The mouthpiece is not so good but you can buy extra a better one..
I absolutely reccomend this trombone for begginers!!!

Seems great for beginners...

I can't judge the tonal quality of the instrument as a total beginner (I do subjectively like the sound coming out of it) but overall it seems like a great trombone for people starting playing. After 3 days of playing I'm already hitting 4 octaves and learning the slide positions. A friend who has some old school Yamaha 'bone said this one is a tad easier to play than his, so the mouthpiece supplied is probably more suited to beginners which is great!

CONS:
- Slide seems a bit scratchy and noisy, even after using the supplied lubricant. Maybe it will smoothen out during time.
- The case is not so good, I saw cases like that before, most of them end up with broken zippers quite soon. Thomann bags for their budget brass instruments are way better.

Overall I'm quite happy with the purchase and would recommend it to beginners.

very good choice for a begginer as me. i dont know to play i just choose it for its prize but i think has a good sound (of what i manage to do) and its coming with a great hard case

Just got my Startone trombone. The quality of the case is superb and the instrument itself is of surprisingly good quality. Its inner slides are made of nickel plated with chrome, which is far more superior than some cost-cutting design in which the chrome plating over brass will come off after just a few years of use. Yet to test its durability but judging from its review I am sure I will have years of fun with this wonderful instrument.

Have bought 4 or 5 of these so far. No real problems, the price is very accessible for beginners and they're holding together well all things considered. However, one of the case zips gave up almost straight away so the quality there might be improved.
