Great thick(er) snare stick

Great stick that rolls really well. Feels nice on the hand and has good weight to it too. Weight feels a bit 'laid back' making it hard to articulate open doubles at pp for excepts. But overall an excellent stick I'm happy with.
Edit: It has been 1 month since I've started using these sticks and I must say they have really grown on me. The lower down weight actually makes them incredible for interchanging rolls or anything buzz related (just slightly harder to articulate delicate passages) but produces an incredible sound and feels so nice. 5/5

One of the best quality Concert Sticks

I have ordered about 10 pairs of sticks to see whether any one can replaced my damaged cooperman sticks.
This one is very special and I weight them, the weight difference is only 0.1g! Extremely balanced sticks.
And when I played it, the balance point is right in the middle, it is very suitable to be the practice sticks to train the rudiments as well as a concert stick. Loud enough and subtle to do the pp job. Stick click sound is brighter than SD1.
The only cons is it is too balanced and all the points in the middle. Anyway it suits in all situation and it can get all the jobs done

Sie ähneln den SD2 , sind aber etwas länger, etwas dicker, der Kopf im Durchmesser ist etwas größer, sie sind etwas schwerer und aus Weißbuche.
Das “mehr“ an allen stört aber nicht – eher im Gegenteil.
Irgendwie hebt sich alles gegeneinander auf oder ergänzt sich … und der größere Kopf ist dabei auch noch “fellschonender“.
Pate für den Stick, dem Klassiker der Wiener Trommelschule, stand übrigens Prof. Gerald Fromme.

Wie der SD2 liegen sie ausgewogen in der Hand, sprechen fein und definiert an und ermöglichen ein Spektrum reiches Spiel.
Sie sind groß im Ton und klingen auch am Becken. Der Rebound ist gut und ...es gibt weniger Dellen.
Die Qualität der Sticks ist top und mein Paar kam 1A nach Tonhöhe und Gewicht sortiert. Eben Handarbeit einer Manufaktur.

Eine wirkliche (und auch robustere) Alternative zum SD2.
