Good multiporpuse Microphone.
Bought this mic because I needed more variety.
First impressions, the main microphone comes in a well manufactured wood box, also it's well constructed in rugged metal that even if it is wearing of after some years it just keeps protecting the circuitry and working as expected.
The mounting is of hard plastic and the mic comes with a 3 polar switch that may come in handy for different situations.
The sound: Well, it's a cheap microphone and what that means is that it has this harsh upper high kind of frequencies that we all hate in so many vocals, so for vocals or very high vocals it can be a little bit over-killer. Instead, if used in not that harsh sources I find out that its very pleasant, to be precise it works very well on overheads, floor toms, bongos, background vocals, in some occasions on acoustic guitars and incredibly nice in bassoons.
Resume:
This microphone if it's well positioned and well picked for the sound it works the best, then is a bargain, but for an all purpose studio microphone as so many people find their-self in need of, this wont do.

Surprised
I was skeptical about this product and made a bit of a comprimise because of the good price but it turned out to be a really good mic. I also got the windshield, the nice wooden box and the shockmount with it.

Reliable and low-cost microphone
I bought two of them to make a stereo couple and I like them. I've used them to record pianos, guitars, voices, effects for movies, as overhead for drums. They are quite versatile, thanks to their good frequency response and their three polar patterns, which allows you many different options to make a stereo couple. They have a high-medium boost, so they sound pretty good on instruments that are a bit dark or on sources that require to have an increased presence. Their internal noise is really low (14 dBA); some very expensive microphones don't even have an internal noise that low! The shock mount is excellent and the microphone is sold with a classy wooden box that protects the microphone very well when not used.
In my opinion, the quality, reliability and versatility of these microphones are amazing for that price.
