I bought these for two purposes: Playing digital piano and for tracking vocals and guitar. For both purposes these do very well. They are comfortable to wear, although they can feel a bit warm and clammy if you are wearing them for hours at a time. They are very isolating, shutting out external sounds as good as hearing protectors - you could probably use them when playing/recording drums. The sound leakage to the surroundings is also very good, and when recording vocals while wearing these I can detect no sound getting picked by my condenser microphone.
The sound is very clear and open. Compared to my other headphones from Sennheiser, Klipsch and Koss, these are lacking a bit of bass, not really delivering that deep punch despite being marketed as more bass-heavy. The comparison is a bit unfair though, as the other headphones all cost between 5 and 10 times as much. For the price you pay for these, they are absolutely marvelous. They are hands-down the best sounding headphones in that price range I have ever used. Sure, others I have tried may have had better deeper bass response, but they are nowhere near the clarity and brilliance of these.
When my spouse was playing the digital piano using her old headphones, I asked her to try these on. She played for only a few seconds, then turned to me and said upset: "Damn you, you've ruined my old headphones!". She is now always borrowing these from me, refusing to go back to those she was happy with before trying these on.

Best phones I've owned
Used them daily for a few years. The only problem is that it gets hot inside after a few hours, but they are closed so no big surprise there.
Good isolation, good sound, strong bass. Very good build quality.

Excellent sound
Excellent sound and very comfortable to wear... But you also get pretty sweaty ears.
They also are good at blocking outside noise, can't really hear the doorbell, phone or noisy neighbours when using these.
I guess these headphones could really use an amplifier, my computers soundcards headphone connector doesn't have enough power to drive them, but the pre-amplified speaker connector seems to be just enough.
The "self-adjusting" -part of the headband is made with thin rubberbands, which I fear will be the first part to break up in these... cause my apparently big head is stretching them to the max when I wear them. So far they seem to hold.

Good sound, fantastic value
Been using these daily ever since I got them. No problems whatever. Sound quality is just fine for my own home recording/practice purposes. Simple, durable product for a laughably low price.

Very pleased
I'd heard these before I bought them and had to gave a pair big bass, recessed mids, great for gaming, movies TV etc, not bad for bass guitar either.

Great sounds from some great headphones - these really can't be beaten for the price!
I've had other headphones before where my ears don't quite fit inside each 'can', so this was a concern (even though my ears aren't that big). These measure about 5.5cm inbetween the padding which was great for me.
The padding itself is quite comfy, even with glasses on. The springiness of the headband gives a good seal around your ears which helps isolate what you're listening to from the outside world.
I do find these slightly uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of use, but short breaks are always best with extended periods of headphone use.
