Imprecise, but it works
As a basic cable tester, the Pink Stick is a great purchase. The build quality is stellar, though I was a bit concerned about the pladtic knob on top.
Unfortunately it is not to be considered a measurement device of any kind. The 1 kHz tone is more like 1.1 kHz, and there is considerable distortion.
I was hoping to use it to help take some measurements but it's just not precise enough for that purpose.
