This adapter is great for extending or connecting to a speaker cable. It's really solidly built so it can withstand real-life gig situations, such as being chucked into a bag full of other cables and parts, being stomped on by accident, being taped down repeatedly with duct tape. It has a tight grip so that any inadvertent yanking will not disconnect the cables by accident.
