Guitar is ace, very pleased. I couldn't want anything more from it. However I seem to have received one that wasn't of great quality. There was marks and dings over the body, cables had also come loose in the pre amp. Thomann however offered me a refund, a replacement or part refund. I took the part refund and bought myself a nice hard case for it. So happy days. The guitar required a slight truss rod adjustment to be perfect but now plays the best of any acoustic I have! I have used it on countless gigs and it is great. It is very bass heavy when plugged in however, so I usually have the onboard EQ and notch filter in use. Plus EQ on the mixer to get a decent sound.

An 6 string brother is coming next to the 12 string
MGokce 09.09.2021
I have 12-string, natural colored brother of this guitar. I'm very pleased with that 12-string which is very nice looking guitar. Especially for a 12-string, the action is very low and it's easy to play. It has gold tuners on the headstock which is giving the guitar very beautiful look. The tuners do their work very well. The guitar always stays in tune. And the most important thing is that it has a bright and full 12-string sound. For a long time, I wanted to buy this 6-string GJ72CE BSB. At last, I ordered it together with a hard case (Thomann Acoustic Guitar Case Jumbo) and I'm looking forward to receive them at once. I know I will probably like it, as there will be no difference between the 6 and 12 strings, except the color and the number of strings. I'm waiting and I will I also share my impressions after I actually play it.

As Big As I Want To Be
Hypercyclemaniac 30.12.2021
This is my first Takamine -and it won't be my last. Fit and finish are perfect. The slim neck and sleek fretboard are awesome. This jumbo is built like a tank, stays in tune, and produces a crisp, clear tone with plenty of sustain. Typical maple vibe of more high than low end, but loud and rich results.

Setup perfectly out of the box!
bongodoctor 13.11.2025
This is a 'jumbo' size acoustic with a flexible preamp. The neck relief and action were set up perfectly for an acoustic with enough room to really dig in without any fret buzz. The strings took a while to stretch and are coated - the light guage is fine, although I will probably change the strings for retro monels in the near future. The guitar has a bright punchy sound, without too much muffly bass end. The preamp sounds fine through an acoustic amp with the EQ flat and with a bypass and mid contour button you can effectively switch between three EQ profiles very quickly. The guitar is very light and as the top, back and sides are quite thin it is very resonant which is a positive. The only negative is that that I suspect it wouldn't take much to punch a hole in it - but not planning to test this. This is a decent guitar for the money, which I will use for venues that I would not want to risk my more expensive acoustic at...
