Am Anfang war ich etwas verwundert, da bei der Snare die beiden Felle nur irgendwie und ziemlich locker befestigt wurden. Ich habe sie gestimmt und dabei gleich das mitgelieferte Evans G1 Schlagfell gegen ein Remo CS Fell ausgetauscht (gefällt mir persönlich einfach besser). Ich habe die Snare recht hoch gestimmt und bin mit ihren knackigen und bauchigen Sound sehr zufrieden. Man spürt sie richtig beim spielen.

Die Teppich reagiert unbeschreiblich gut und die Hardware ist wie von Tama gewöhnt spitzenmäßig.
Die Bubinga Snare kann man meiner Meinung nach in jeder Stielrichtung einsetzen. Man müsste nur eventuell das Schlagfell der Stielrichtung gemäß austauschen, was dank dem Freedom Lug und Claw Hook Halte und Stimm System sehr schnell erledigt ist.

Ich kann die Starphonic Bubinga Snare nur weiterempfehlen ;)
