This product is so much more comfortable than regular screws! I always drop my regular winged screws when unscrew my cymbals. Also these holds in place perfectly so your cymbals don’t get too loose after a few harder hits.

User friendly accessory
These little additions to my drum hardware accessories box are excellent. I purchased a set to use with all of my cymbal stands and additional booms, not because there is anything wrong with the standard Tama cymbal caps, but because in a live situation where it's necessary to remove your cymbals quickly to make way for another drummer's set up, these are really handy. Quality red button action! Just remember to take them with you after the gig if they're not attached to your cymbal stands!

Perfect for using on lightweight crashes, chinas etc. Not so good on heavier cymbals if you crash on them, for example ride cymbals.

If you are gigging - buy them
Got one of these with a boom arm recently and couldn't believe I had lived without them for so long. Any drummer regularly gigging will know the hassle of wheeling multiple wing nuts before and after every gig and these quick set mates take away the pain.
Simple to attach and sturdy enough to hold any cymbal in place with the added comfort that they will not loosen during the set. A new and, now essential, addition to my kit and with the discounts from Thomann on multiple buys it's cheap to add them to all your cymbals.

Once Quick Cymbal Mates, always Quick Cymbal Mates
I've been using the parts for a long time now, and I have to say that I don't want to miss them live anymore. They are worth their weight in gold, especially where rapid pool changes are required and time is of the essence. However, even with normal use in the rehearsal room, they are in no way inferior to conventional screws. They are light and infinitely adjustable and keep their seat even when used heavily.

Tama Quick-Set Cymbal Mate
I just received my order of thee today. I have been missing out for so long. They are truly amazing. Never again will I go without them, and I will be advising all my drummer friends to pick some up.
Changing cymbals has now become so fluid, and swift in comparison to the 20 minute long process of unscrewing and re screwing each holder.
Now I can put up or take down my cymbals in less than 5 minutes.
If you're hesitant in picking some of these up, and think they may be a bit gimmicky, then I promise you, your are totally wrong.
Great purchase, great bit of hardware, a must have for every drummer.

Very useful thing. Good price. It save time for install cymbals. At the gigs it may give you few minutes more for playing if time is limited. Durable (there are any details to broke). Compact.
But it does not fit for cheap Chinese stands like Millennium (or stand doesn't fit for mate), because stand has smaller diameter.
