Overall good, but not for jazz and fingerpicking
Vadim N. 19.10.2022
I play mostly jazz, accompaniment and some fingerpicking. So I wanted something mellow and convenient to play. The sound of this Taylor is not bad, and guitar feels not bad in hands, but it's just not for me, I think.
Let me explain some points, pros and cons...

- It has pretty straight neck, but I had to adjust strings height, and even in the lowest position it was too high for me
- Neck is extremely narrow, not for solo stuff and fingerpicking, except you have very small fingers maybe.
- Strings have standard gauge, I guess, but they seem too heavy for me, definitely not for fingerpicking or solo stuff.
- Quality of manufacturing is not good, but you never know in advance which pattern of koa and spruce you'll get. In my case, the top had strange texture.
- The guitar isn't loud enough, for solo stuff and fingerpicking at least.
- Plugged into my Boss Acoustic Singer it had some noise.

My final words - If you're looking for a decent quality guitar for simple loud strumming and singing, this may be a good option. If you (like myself) need something for soloing, blues, jazz, more advanced stuff, think twice, and better yet, try it before you buy.

Good luck!
