Solid but not perfect
The Sentry noise gate works really well as part of the pedal board. Gating is tight and the configurability via software is just unbelievably flexible. But when plugged to my Boss Katana Mk2 100W effects loop the pedal has weird issue of emitting a high pitched sound just before the gate closes. It sounds almost like feedback and adds an annoying "zing" at the start of the gating. I've gone through this with Thomann support and even exchanged the unit once, but it seems this is some weird issue with the gate and amp not quite working together as expected. So works well as part of pedal board, but might have issues if plugged to effects loop of an amp (depending on the amp as I've seen YouTube videos where it works just fine in effects loop of some amps).

not as good as others
I really wanted to like this noise gate as it has some excellent features (the multiband gate and the tone print feature)...
... but the sound and gate ability is not as good as the ISP Decimator G String
... the Boss NS2 is also a better noise gate in my opinion when run in the "X Pattern" although you will loose some top end sparkle .
I just could not get the Sentry to work as the others. I do run a lot of gain though so with just an amp (no external boost or compressor pedals), it would be fine and worth a look.
