I tried to use this little octaver in fx loop. This octaver sounds not like guitar sound. When you hear you guitar through the amp ... you hear good sound...and then you switch on this pedal...and you feel that your sound became syntetic - not guitar like.

Some good sounds but it sucks your tone when bypassed. Not much but still. I just couldn't live with this. Sounds are interesting and some very useful. The simple one octave down is not powerful enough. There's a better octaver on the Line6 M5 for example. The dry signal is not the same as your guitar tone it's sounds different somehow synthesized and I think this is the main problem.
