Good quality for money
I bought this mesh head for my old jazz drum kit, in view of converting it to an electronic kit.
The mesh head was as simple to install as a conventional head. Once under tension, I noticed that the natural sound of the shell came through, as I was tuning it. This came as a lovely surprise, as I can still enjoy playing my kit in my flat, without having to compromise too much on the sound quality...
I bough this head 7 years ago and it is still alive and in perfect condition. Excellent value for money, as far as I'm concerned.
The downside is its bounciness, slightly superior than a conventional double ply drum head...

Great price
I got these for my Roland TD-20 and even though they are only single layered they work great. The price is probably the best feature. Fit perfectly on all roland 12" drums.

great mesh head
I bought a couple of these for my Millenium mesh head electronic drum kit. I play metal, but these are lasting long. I cannot compare with Roland heads, since I never tried one, but these served me well. Its a really MUST who are having neighbours and still wanna use a drum kit at home environment.
