the box pro TP 118/800

Bought from curiosity, as it has an attractive price. Shipping was quite fast, arrived in 4 working days. Initially sound quality wasn't impressive at all and 1000W rms with 35Hz low cut seemed to be just too much for this box, had some strange noises. I removed the grille and realized that the screws that hold the speaker were not tightened enough and the woofer blowed the air out. After the screws were tightened and proper burn in, they started to sound a lot better. The stated spl is a bit optimistic, in the sub-bass range is more like a 93-94dB than 96dB, but for this money you have a nice looking box, good build quality, a mediocre woofer and warranty. Handles are good if box is handled by 2 persons, otherwise is a pain to manipulated by one person
