Great Mandolin
After about 4 months playing this great instrument I can say that the sound is amazing. It requires a little truss rod adjustment, The fret work is not excellent but good enough for an average player. The intonation is awesome. It stays in tune for ages. I have equipped it with K and K pickup and the sound is just flawless. It cuts through nicely. I can see me playng this beauty for a long time.

Best I could find for the price!
I wanted, and got, an inexpensive F shape that plays in tune, sounds much better than other cheap instruments around Β£200, has some chop, and looks good. Only disappointment is that the bottom G strings sound a bit tinny, but would have to pay double the price to improve on that. Feels solidly built, and no problems after 6 months hard playing!

My first mandolin
I mostly play guitar, but I've been wanting to learn the mandolin for a while. And I finally took the plunge with this "The Loar" mandolin. I didn't want to put too much money into it. So, after watching a few youtube reviews I landed on the LM-310F. The build quality seems to be very good. And I'm very happy with the playability, sound.
