Needs push
Not the best quality and also need a push to "click", so I am afraid I might break them.

Nice piece'o kit.
I use the a lot, for re'sending the same signal to another input, or amp, eg, 2 guitar amps, across the stage from each other, different effect on each, beware ground loops though.
Also speaker and line level signals can be manipulated with these Tee junctions.
BIG feet break them easily. :-/
Toto soon has newuns out to me though.

Not working
Obviously, for this price I couldn't expect much and I did a mistake by ordering just one piece. Worked for the first 5 minutes, then started to glitch and stopped working. Again, not mad at all - costs less than a beer.

Poor quality
The plastic on the adapter feels cheap which is expected given the price.
I used the adapter with an audio interface so that the output goes to a headphone and a speaker, but the result was that the headphone would only have one side working.
I bought it but I am not going to use it.

Does the job
Feels very lightweight and of poor quality build however it was very cheap and was only to be used in a temporary situation which it worked fine for.
I would not recommend this as something to be used on a long term basis. That said and done it got me out of trouble till a second amp was back up and running and it still hasn't broke, though I have handled it with kid gloves!
In summary; It's cheap and in this case you get what you pay for, don't expect too much from it and you won't be too disappointed.

Basic and flimsy
I have bought two of these. One seems fine. On the other, the male jack is loose, and the connections inside fizz and crackle. Both adapters work better splitting downstream (one input two outputs) than joining upstream.
I have my doubts about how long the one that works will last. But too cheap to be worth returning.
In all, not recommended.

no alternatives
The sssnake 1852 Y- Adapter does its job - unfortunately not very long, as the manufacturing quality is quite poor (what else would one expect from such a low prized item).
Unfortunatly there are no alternative products.
If you need to use these adaptors, you'll have to live with that problem.
I usually buy more than I need - so if one or two of them break, I'll have a spare.
At least they're cheap.

works fine for the money
It works, however, I do not expect it to last if frequently used due to the design approach.
If not to connect/disconnect to often and do not allow any tension/stress from cables on it, it will probably last much longer.

Easy is Best
Was using a small mixing desk to feed my guitar and guitar synthesizer(roland vg88) into the main input of my guitar amp. Took a chance on this little splitter and was delighted with result. This replaces small desk and several leads!! Genius!

Improvised "stereo" output for bass guitar
I used this to run two mono cables out of my single (mono) bass output into two different amps. No problem.
