Obviously, for this price I couldn't expect much and I did a mistake by ordering just one piece. Worked for the first 5 minutes, then started to glitch and stopped working. Again, not mad at all - costs less than a beer.

Does the job
Woodwork Barn 17.10.2017
Feels very lightweight and of poor quality build however it was very cheap and was only to be used in a temporary situation which it worked fine for.
I would not recommend this as something to be used on a long term basis. That said and done it got me out of trouble till a second amp was back up and running and it still hasn't broke, though I have handled it with kid gloves!
In summary; It's cheap and in this case you get what you pay for, don't expect too much from it and you won't be too disappointed.

no alternatives
Jens264 22.02.2014
The sssnake 1852 Y- Adapter does its job - unfortunately not very long, as the manufacturing quality is quite poor (what else would one expect from such a low prized item).
Unfortunatly there are no alternative products.
If you need to use these adaptors, you'll have to live with that problem.
I usually buy more than I need - so if one or two of them break, I'll have a spare.
At least they're cheap.

Ordered 3, 1 works.
Anonymous 05.10.2016
I ordered 3 of these as well as 3 of the stereo type and within minutes of taking them out of their packaging 1 of these fell apart in my hand. Another just doesn't grip on to the jacks. So 1/3 are usable which is disappointing. Fortunately the Stereo versions work fine with Mono Jacks.
All this said they're so cheap I don't know what I expected.
The stereo versions I bought and the 1 of these that works do their job fine, Not too much noise splitting 1 source to 2, a fair bit of noise combining 2 sources to 1 but that's not what they're for.

Toys for experimentation
Anonymous 30.05.2016
These are good for what they are and allow for experimentation. If your sound is satisfactory in say a pedalboard environment, then proceed to buy the necessary cable or solder your own
