OK for the price
Really you can't buy the pugs and cable and make these yourself for much cheaper that buying these, as I bought these out of laziness as to not make my own. The pins on a few plugs were out of line, due to the little round plate they are attached to being able to rotate. Once I realized this, I was able to plug them in and lock.
But based on the price, I cannot complain on this quality aspect. The cables I bought are permanently plugged in the back of a rack in a patchbay and having worked in many live situations with XLR plugs and cables, I would guess that in heavy use these would not last long, but for heavy use I would buy something a little more robust.
But at little over 2¤ per cable, if it breaks, throw it and buy some more. Great for price if they don't move once installed, otherwise spend a few cents more on something you can rely on if you are intending to plug in and out a lot.

Overall Good
Value for money. Only drawback: Some XLR plastic molds were not so good. Other than that all seems okay.

used it for my digital mixer in rack
I used these cables to connect my rack-mounted wireless mics to my rack-mounted XR18 mixer. since it is not being pulled in and out, I did never had an issue. so far, very satisfied and already bought another set.

Very good for the price
Absolutely what I needed for my bands rack, we play technical death metal based from Iceland and needed an in ear system. So the colored patches just made sense from an organizing standpoint.
And the price does not hurt.
I would say that if you need something you plug in and leave, then this is perfect. But durability is a question when it has to be moved around a lot.

strong yet flexible
using the cables now for a couple of months, good contact and very flexible cable

good for the money -
does what you expect :) using them together with a millenium PB16XLR patch bay to connect mic to my outboard preamps.
