It does the job!
For the price it is an excellent product. I use it in my home studio and I am happy for the result. It doesn't help if you're playing too loud but I didn't expect that. If you want a better result and you are able to pay I suggest the 40 mm. I suppose that is 10 times better because I bought also some of it from a local store but not much because it was too expensive. but if you have a low budget like me this is the perfect solution. For high frequencies it Is exceptional. If you are going to do a better job I suggest you add some bass traps. And finally, there is a number of ways to attach them to the walls or ceiling. That optional glue is a good solution but if you want to attach them temporary you can stick them with some velcro, an idea that I came up with! It is relatively cheap and you can buy it from a local store or online. Also if you go with velcro find an original because you will have troubles with the cheap copies.
Summary :
*perfect for small rooms
* works better with high frequencies than low
*best choice for the price undoubtedly!

Nice look, functional
I use these in my home studio along with other types of elements to treat the rooms. There's not too much to say about this product, it makes your studio look more professional and it really helps to improve the sound. Don't even think of putting egg cartons or similar nonsense stuff onto your walls those won't work and look amateur.
For the price this is excellent especially if strategically combined with other materials. Sound wise as well as aesthetically good results.
I will buy more of this product in the future. Recommended.

The colour is misleading (it is black actually!)
Looked a pretty OK quality-wise product, but I had to send it back due to its colour. On the picture it looks grayish (well, at least to my eye), but in fact it is black. If you want to see the real colour, there are a couple videos on youtube.

Really does make a difference
This foam is great value, and does make a difference to the acoustics of a room. Great to experiment with!

Useful, inexpensive foam.
As the least expensive foam available on Thomann, this is good value for money for the correct purpose. I used a sheet of this foam to act as the surface of a home-made microphone screen, over the top of some thicker foam. It provides a subjectively attractive surface which is more suitable than the flat foam I used underneath it. If required for a wall or other more reflective surface I would recommend a thicker variant for more absorption.

Good for the price
i used the foam on ceiling to cover the rockwool i placed. it helped a lot on the high frequencies. for the price i will recomend it.. but if you are planning to place it in your studio walls its too thin to work and make a difference. You will need to place a rockwool behind it and that will give better results in my opinion
Pros : Price , Shape looks good
Cons: Too thin to make a huge difference ,but as i mentioned if you add rockwool behind you will get great results for the price

Worked well for what I needed it
I used a few of these guys to treat my working room from some bad low-end resonance. Worked well and it's much easier for me to mix and master tracks now. No idea how well this stands against time but so far so good.

Does the job!!!
I initially bought the foam as i wanted to create a small vocal shield, but a friend lent me one so i used it for something else in my home studio. I created two small speaker traps on the wall for my Alesis M1 Actives, and also made a pair of D.I.Y monitor speaker isolation pads. For the wall traps i used in conjunction with Thomann Glue, and they stuck fine, no problems. As monitor isolation pads they soak up the bass very well, and also seem to take the bass frequencies from pounding against the walls. The sheet is a fair size, and could be used for range of things..Great value..Just buy it!!!!
