Use these on stage with band. Great resistance to feedback and very durable.

Simple sound. Fairly robust.
Andy345 31.05.2013
I've been using this mic to mic a snare drum up. It gives a fairly simple sound, doesn't quite capture the full snare experience. But it does deliver a clear simple snare sound.

Been using it for some time, and haven't had any problems (even with a few drummers hitting the mic identically).

If you want to use it on a snare, you will need to purchase a separate mic clip. The clip stays in place when done up well. And is adjustable so you can angle the mic into the right position.

Doesn't require phantom power, so easy to setup and go.

It's also a good price point.

Is it worth the price? Yes s(h)ure :-) The size is small and very compatible, so placing it for miking the snare or toms is very easy. As well suitable for miking guitar amps. It is not SM57, but as well, I am not playing in Motörhead, so my budget is little bit more limited.

I have a full mic set on the t.bone drum microphones and they sound pretty good and the rest depends so much how you record and mix them but at least this is a good way to start!

Good value mic for the money.

I can't really complain about these mics at all. They have served me well now for a couple of years and still going strong.Excellent value for money and reasonably well made and sturdy. They have been a victim of the the end of a 5b many a time and yet still keep doing their job!!
