These mics are great value for money! They're perfect for speech and can be used for singing although not the most perfect sounding mics. The microphone it's self is very well built and sturdy. Made from a metal chassis they should last a few knocks and drops. It takes AA batteries which are cheaper and easier to get hold of in an emergency than a 9V battery that some radio mics use.
