Thomann have done it again!
Anonymous 06.05.2016
I find myself repeatedly saying this after purchasing Thomann's 'own brand' gear. It's consistently good at a super low price point.

The quality of build is there, it's solid and feels hard wearing which is always nice. There's nothing worse than feeling like your gear could go/break at any moment so I find that to be very important when buying new mic's. The box is sturdy and I'd dare suggest even road worth at a stretch.

In terms of sound quality I was shocked, this stands up to the likes of Shure. The audio is crisp and clear with none of the usually little irritating problems usually found when purchasing a microphone that's on the cheap side. So that was definitely a pleasant surprise.

All in all I'm very impressed with this product, even more so when considering the price and the quality of audio capture. I'd defiantly replace this if it was to get stolen/broken.

For the price, what are you waiting for???
Anonymous 06.03.2017
Having read a number of reviews on this mic before I bought it, I was cautiously optimistic. to be honest, I was put off by the price.... it just seemed a bit cheap!!
BUT, and its a big BUT, this microphone is amazing for its price bracket. I'm a skinflint, and have bought mic's in this price range before, I'm a solo singer who just needs to record some demo material every now and then. So I've never been too worried about creating pro studio quality sound. But with this Mic, that is what you are getting near too.
No i'm not saying go out and replace your £500 pro studio mic's with this, but if you are a starter in home studio recording, looking to record voiceovers etc, some demo vocals. This is an ideal mic to have without breaking the bank.
Its a lightweight build, but all the bits that need to be there, are there and doing their job soundly. XLR is a nice tight fit, being an off round shape it doesn't fit into my current Anti-vibration mount as neatly as I'd like, but it does come with its own mic stand mount (not anti vibration).
Its got good gain without distortion and a robust all round sound. Even comes in its own lightweight, but well protective case, that will take a few knocks.

Great entry leve condensor mic suitable for home studio
Anonymous 30.04.2015
Purchased as I wanted a basic condensor mic to use with an audio interface to record vocals, acoustic guitar and electric guitar and bass amps and was suprised with the quality of the recordings I was able to achieve.

Features: Not much to say on this point, it was supplied in a nice plastic box with foam moulded interior, box was initially a pain to open but it's loosened up since.
No switches, knobs or buttons on the mic, just plug into a interface or mixer with phantom power with an XLR lead and you're ready to go.

Sound: as previously mentioned the sound quality of this mic is really nice, warm and clear for vocals and acoustic guitar and can record a guitar or bass amp well.
Only negative point worth mentioning is it gets noisy with the preamp levels turned right up, though this is with unusably high gain levels.

Quality: This mic feels quite cheap, with plastic housing that probably wouldn't be able to take a hard fall. For this reason I'd reason i'd only really recommend for home or studio use and not for live application.

Conclusion: a great entry level mic for a budding singer songwriter or someone kitting out a home studio on the cheap.

CHANGE YOUR MINDSET!
Anonymous 03.05.2016
Enhanced my creativity and questioned my ignorance.

for years i was that guy who was always like, I have no use for a mic i am just and electronic producer. How wrong was I thanks to the the T.Bone i am more in tune with my music i do vocal exercises and can now use it as a creative medium which enhances studio time. It spared a realm of creativity and the mic has never let me down in terms of quality,

The reason i bought this mic and not the popula ones like the shure at 100 euro was because it is a medium which i am only exploring mabye if i have a voice of michael jackson i would consider upgrading but for average mic work it prformed great and would definately reccomend to people who are in the same boat as me.

Pros
- cheap
- versatile
- professional sound

Cons
- I would haf't to be a more expierenced vocalist to negatively critique this mic.

Great well rounded mic

Amazing value
Anonymous 28.02.2015
Bought a couple of these for drum overhead miking for some more casual rehearsal and demo recording. You'd think that a mic that cheap would be practically useless, but all I can say is that they perform flawlessly and surprisingly crisp. On high-freq instrument such as cymbals you may need to cut quite a bit with EQ, but I've not yet experienced that these sound plain bad right off the board either. Fantastic value for your money, it even includes packaging that can be reused for packaging/transportation, and fairly stable micstand mount.

The sound range and texture of the sounds this mic renders is of course way more imprecise than something from the mid or higher pricerange, but it is impossible to be disappointed with what you get here. Just get a few, can't hurt!

Wow!
Thomas3200 14.01.2014
Come on!
This mic barley cost a thing.
I bought it just to have a condenser in my home studio.
But the mic have been in use on several recordings since then.
As a live microphone it's not my choice but in the studio recording vocals i love it!
Recently I recorded a blues singer.
We tried a expensive ribbon mic (can't remember the brand), an akg c1000, and this cheap mic.. Straight in a focusrite sound-card.
On the final mix we did a blind test, choosing the t.bone above the other to.
And then it comes to live sessions, I've tried it on choir, overhead for drums but it takes up so much of the environment and it is really easy to get feedback since it is so sensitive.

Nice product

I bought this mic for home/reherseal sessions and recording drumset. For this price I was exited. Microphone gives me more than expected from output parameters and sound. I think the range is a little bit more middle tone shaping but this is maybe only my personal point of view. Highs and lows ok. I can recommend. For non-profesional use the best way.

Great price/quality
And.M. 02.01.2018
I've used this microphone with online games to chat with other players, and I've received many compliments regarding the sound quality.

Also used this to record vocals and vocals + acoustic guitar with great results.

The sound is really linear with a few bumps here and there, but for the price this is a great starting microphone!
