It works, but it's not that compact
This little gadget does its job, it connects two pedals and provides a crystal clear signal path.
I bought this and a slightly different offset adaptor (which allows for height differences) to use between boss and ibanez pedals, the only issue is with this device, is it requires a large space inbetween pedals, where as the offset connector does not. The resulting effect is a large gap, small gap etc etc between a line of pedals which does not look right, the way around this it would seem it to use multiple offset adapters, however when doing this the boss pedals form a zig sag pattern along the board, so there is no real solution using these straight through type connectors.
It works for a couple of pedals of the same manufacturer, but it doesn't simplify things if you have a big pedal board, you may even save space in the gap between pedals by using simple patch cables. Quality is good though, delivers what it says it will.

review of sssnake Effect Pedal Adapter
Does the job but are a bit flimsy compared to other designs however you can get at the wire inside if ever you had to could attempt to repair them. Saying that they are that cheap that you can afford to have lots of spare replacements in your kit. If you don't use them roughly they will last a good bit of time.

Really useful but not perfect
I found this really useful for building up a pedal chain, however one issue I came across is if you use power supplies with your pedals, the power input can prevent the pedals from being close enough, this was a problem I came across with my Behringer Pedals in particular. Boss pedals on the other hand are completely fine.

Does it's job
If you're matching boss pedals or any equal sized pedals on your pedalboard, this adapter will do fine.

simple jack
This jack is good for setting up quickliy effect pedals. The user has to be aware of the inputs. You could cause damage to the adapter, if one pedal is "floating". A solutuion would be to raise the pedal.

sssnake Pedal adapter
Really handy for quick settin up of pedals of the same type. not great for pedal boards though as they dont always work with different make pedals. Quality of the product is excellent
