More suited for guitar amps than bass amps
JakobThy 25.08.2022
I chose this stand for its simple construction, which allowed it to be folded flat. The price was also very good.

The stand is quite sturdy and well made, but it falls a little short of its description. For one thing, it is not «tiltable», as stated in the description - it has one position only. The description also states that it’s suitable for «guitar amps, bass amps and cabinets», which is something of a stretch. It accommodates my Rumble 500 combo - but only just, and it wouldn’t take much of a push to topple it. Bass amps and cabinets are far deeper than guitar amps, and any bass amp suited for live use (which is also what this stand is intended for) will be too deep to be truly stable on this stand. The supporting arms are also on the short side. If you’re a guitar player, this stand will work well for you - bass players should probably look elsewhere.

Poor quality control

Hard to understand why this stand has such great reviews. Sure, it's cheap, but the angle is fixed and it doesn't tilt back anywhere near enough to ensure stability, nor to do it's job of getting the amp pointing at the guitarist's ears. I purchased two of them, one isn't too bad, the other has one leg slightly longer than the other and the stop has been welded in a different place so neither stand sits at the same angle. Usable, just about ok for the price, but I would have spent more if I'd been able to see these prior to purchasing.

After a few weeks, this is my review:
Mine has terrible quality: it's uneven on the floor and it doesn't make a 45 degree angle so the amp only rests agains the back and not the legs.
I assume this is only my faulty unit and Thomann was kind enough to refund me.
Besides that, it's very light and easily transported. Not very sturdy, but not flimsy either, it's inbetween.
Measure your amp's rubber leg distance so it doesn't match the stand's leg distance. For instance, DV MARK JAZZ 12 has exactly the same distance, so the amp has to sit slightly offcentered in this stand.

Wouldn't buy again, but if you're luckier than me it might be great for you.

Not bad.

It would be very good. It looks good, very easy simple handling, good quality for the price. BUT. I think its more for small amps becouse mines 50w is too big. I just tuch my amp for volume with a slightly more pressure, stand with my amp gets down to the ground. Becouse of weight center. .Sadly. I would by only for smaller amps than 50 w.

Kind of cool

They lift the amp off the floor. Thats useful. I wish they had some different positions, hights, etc. But they work for my little amp and are not too much trouble. Not sure if I'll bring them on tour...but maybe.

Doesn't work with fat amps

I bought this for Laney LFR-112, which is almost twice as thick as intended width. It barely balances and any touch can topple it over.
