Sticky quicky!
James1980 07.01.2018
This seems pretty well made.
When it arrived the seams were still a little tacky with wet glue. However, I did receive the item only two days after ordering even though Thomann said it was out of stock. I suspect a fresh batch arrived from China and one was sent straight to me before the glue had time to properly cure. I am sure it will be fine in time and really speaks volumes for Thomann's quick delivery.
I wouldn't keep a premium instrument in this case, but plenty good enough for a sub 1000 EUR axe.
Great value.

Bought for my Gretsch G5230T
Kvlt 31.12.2019
Slightly too large for the guitar I purchased it for, so this review is simply about the quality of the case:

Good hardshell case, no-frills, looks good, feels solid, gets the job done. No complaints!

Case for acoustic guitar
ValeBB 21.10.2022
I bough this case for my acoustic guitar and it is definitely robust, but a bit less confortable as for handling, because it is quite heavy as any hardshell case.

Harley Benton HB-35Plus Vintage Burst Bundle
Juha8152 14.10.2020
Bought the HB-35Plus Bundle deal and for the money, is OK value. Good build and do the job.

And the downside, HB-35 Plus is not fitting so well inside. Padding for the body is OK but is too tight on the headstock side and no cushion. The headstock is touching the case and will issue when bump case for something headfirst. Need a little wiggling to lay the guitar to the case due to the slight shortness of the case for HB-35Plus.

The smell is toxic, better not keep nearby for the first month. I left the case for the balcony to get some fresh air. Should be better after a few weeks, I hope? Was the same situation with the Thomann ABS Single Cut case, but this was even worst.

Decent for its price

The case is really decent for its price. Nothing exceptional but no one should expect miracles for less than 70 EUR.

J
Great case for my HB-35plus
Jooob 23.09.2021
Got it as a bunble with my hb-35plus.
Does what it's supposed to.
Lining is not glued in perfectly everywhere but it stays in place, for now it's just an easthetic thing.

Good and Sturdy Case.
Anonymous 20.04.2016
I have the previous version (2006) which I bought from Thomas ten years ago, so I can testify about its sturdiness.

It's a robust and convenient case, I use it for a late 80ies Apx-7.
Mine is the one with the rubber-cord trim on the sides, which I had to glue back in place a couple of times but I can see that this new model has stitched trimming, so I guess that solves this issue.

So much for a good case at an honest price.

B
solid value for money
Bazwoldi 30.05.2018
A well made and finished case which would provide excellent protection for an instrument.
This came with a HB 35 guitar and my only criticism would be that this model guitar is a very tight fit in this case.

Thomann Case for HBPlus
Anonymous 14.11.2016
Howdy!

I ordered one of these cases not for the Harley Benton 35, but for the Harley Benton 35Plus. They both came in at the same time? It would be nice if the guitar was shipped in the case, which it wasn?t. Everything arrived to the US fine?no problems at all, but I can?t help but wonder why they don?t place the guitar in the case before shipping. Would the guitar be safer? I tend to think so?but, I may be wrong. Still, both the guitar and the case where shipped together to the US, in one big box, and they arrived safe and sound.

As for the case itself? It works. I wonder, is there is a size or shape difference between the Harley Benton 35 and the Harley Benton 35Plus? I ask because the guitar didn?t fit well into the case. It fit, but there has to be some serious manipulation inside of the case to make it work. I?ve wondered if the case was shaped to fit the Harley Benton 35?or one of the older 35?s. Thomann changed it?s shape in the last year or two? They were more of the Gibson semi-hallow shape, but lean a bit more towards the Ibanez shape?which is fine. I love the Harley Benton 35?s and 35 Plus guitars. But?if the case was built to fit an older 35 model, or if the regular 35 shape model has some slight differences between it and the Plus, it may be good to update the case design.

Still, the case can work if you are willing to let the guitar fight its way to fitting inside the case. Haha.

As for everything else? It?s fine. It?s definitely not the most amazing case in the world, but for the money, it?s worth picking up and working with. I?m one of those guys who would rather spend less money, work a little with what I have, and then be able to invest more money into something else? Than spend a fortune for a fine piece of protective gear?that if it does its job, will get beat up and scratched up over time protecting your guitar.

Save some money. Don?t spend a fortune buying gear with a brand name on it? This will work perfectly, and it will enable you to put more money towards something else. The case works. It?s rocks. And it will rock protecting your gear. Go for it!
