K
Good, Solid Harp for the Price
Kostein 27.12.2020
For the price, this is a great beginner or children's harp, with some caveats.
The strings are cheap (not surprising) so when I first played it, I was underwhelmed. However, I replaced the strings and it sounded MUCH better. (see below)
Pros:
Solid build, good sound, nice look, great case, durable, GOOD LEVERS!
Cons:
Heavy (good and bad), dull strings.

To explain a bit, working levers on a harp this price is AMAZING. This is a chunky, solid harp that would do well with children or special needs where you don't want to worry about damage but want a harp. It also looks surprisingly good.

About the Strings:
The strings that come with this harp are not terrible, they are serviceable but a bit dull. They do not break easily for the price.
Just tune them slowly, to maybe a quarter octave lower and let them rest, then a note lower, etc. For fine tuning, tune like the second hand of a clock, in 5 degree increments.

To have a better sound, I replaced these strings with d'Addario titanium ukulele strings and it sounded MUCH better. Better strings make anything sound better. This harp sounds very nice with high-density carbon or flurocarbon strings. (but they're expensive)

L
Strong harp but with strings adjusted
Ling 30.04.2021
Never broke so many strings on a harp during the tuning. I find the strings' caliber is too thick.
But I found that by shifting all of them by a 4th (so starting the harp on a C 20), it handles the tension much better and it sounds quite ok using the strings Thomann provides.
Otherwise, strong lever system and strong structure, especially to play outside.
