you need to wait for the tuner to catch up with the tuning. The tuner was thrown into the shipping box and was loose and allowed to bounce around during shipping. Mexican customs ripped open all the boxes and did not tape them back up.

If you're thinking what I was thinking when I bought this ("well, I need a tuner and this is better than nothing, and it's dirt cheap"), think again. Simply put, it sucks. It will not pick up your low E string on a guitar and bass? All I can say is, keep dreaming, lol.
And before you say anything: Yes, I did try a fresh battery.

A tuner should be a helpful tool not a source of aggravation before you even start playing. Who needs that?!

My suggestion : Save up an additional 10–15 EUR and buy a real tuner.

Simply doesn't pick up the strings. I had another simple clip on tuner for years, which worked flawlessly.

Totally insensitive. Replaced with a D’darrio which is excellent.

The display stopped working after a few months

Please avoid, does not track E string on 4string bass, drains battery like crypto miner, invest couple of euros more for better tuner

I would not recommend this Tuner for a classical guitar. It is everything but accurate. Frustrating and completely useless.

Tried it today first time. I play in D standard. It doesn’t sense the F on the third string. Jumps between G and E (WTF?). And the two lower strings isn’t even detected.
Don’t but this shit.

An incredulously pointless tuner. I have a dreadnought, so it's not like there's any lack of resonance on the guitar. Tried clipping it everywhere, even directly on the sound hole. Yet, it somehow doesn't pick up on anything unless I'm hammering on the strings. Works especially dreadfully with lower notes. At an age with many app alternatives for tuning instruments, I'd advise you to keep your money in your pockets or spend more to get a decent tuner.

I found the tuning unreliable (even when moving the tuner closest to the relevant part of the headstock).
I have ended up using a tuning app on my phone instead, which seems to work much better.
