The sound coming from this egg shaker is too harsh for me to consider it for anything else than a kid's toy.
The "rice" filling sounds like the particles are too big, therefore it lacks a smooth "shush" sound that I expect from an egg shaker.
It feels sturdy, so it really can be used as a toy :)
Well, it's really cheap and you get what you pay for.
