Cheap and Cheerful
Okay so in this world you get what you pay for and that is certainly the case with this rack.
I bought this rack for a church installation knowing that once it was installed it would never be moved and for this purpose it is great. If you need a road case do not buy this product.
The ABS is very thin and flexible, the quality of workmanship is poor, some rivets are not fully in. (a bit of quality control wouldn't go amiss here), the corners aren't well cut or lined up but non of that affects the functionality I needed. Once you get a couple of pieces of gear installed it becomes a good ridged unit. The butterfly catches are very nice and the lids are nice and deep meaning there is lots of room to leave things patched or plugged in to a power strip.
The case is also nice and wide leaving plenty of room for airflow down the sides of your gear.
The handles are nice and wide and more comfortable than some.
My favourite feature is the threaded rack strips, no messing about trying to line up up bolts. Every rack should feature these.
All in all I am happy with these for the job I choose them for. For my road gear I would always choose a wooden rack case.

Best used with lightweight equipment
I have the same rack case in smaller sizes. This 8U is somewhat at the upper limit of what its lightweight plastic construction can support. The upside is that it doesn't weigh much.

Does the job
It was hard to mount a few items due to some bending or displacement but other than that this case is solid and pretty lightweight and very good deal for the price.

bang for the buck
for this price what more can you expect?
after a few years of touring and travel 1 rubber band broke in the inside of the doors. still works fine.
dont expect any form of schock dampening or what ever.. its just a hard shell so dont fly with it.
its fine for in the car and on stage.

Does the job good for price
Seems fine....does the job...clips seem a bit loose and are not recessed so could be damages in transit

Great for my PA set up
This case is perfect to fit all of my PA components: a mixer, bass amp, IEM transmitter, safety drawer to hold the mic and IEM receiver and plenty of space in the rear for all of the leads I need.
The only downside is that one of the side handles comes loose, but this is easily put back into place.

Functional
This rack has been very useful, it is easy to take around and feels fairly robust. However some of the drill holes for the rack screws are misaligned which can prevent some components being fully secured but overall decent product

A simple, yet sturdy case.
A simple, yet sturdy case. Fairly straightforward. The lids close with solid and easy butterfly latches, though it needs a bit of getting used to actually putting the lids on correctly.
The plastic casing feels sturdy enough, though I of course haven't done any actual test of strength or shock absorption on it. It doesn't separate the contents from the actual casing (its bolted right to the plastic casing), so that won't help when you drop or hit it, but that's to be expected in this price range. Still, it feels like it can take a beating if needed.
The material makes it slide around quite a bit though, which is something to keep in mind if you want to put it on a flat surface.
Overall its a solid case and for this price you can't really argue about details.
