Das Instrument klingt für die Größe gut. Natürlich nichts besonderes, aber im Gegensatz zu anderen Schülerinstrumenten gibt es klanglich nichts zu beanstanden. Nicht zu schrill oder laut, aber auch nicht näselnd. Neutraler offener Klang. Von der Tendenz etwas leise wenn man Kunststoffsaiten aufzieht. Dafür klingen C und G dann aber auch sehr bratschig.
Die Verarbeitung hat eine hohe Streuung. Man bekommt ein spielbares Instrument, im großen und ganzen auch ansehnlich. Bei meiner ist allerdings die Unterseite des Griffbretts nicht glatt, sondern weist große Unebenheiten auf, an denen gerne mal das Tuch beim Abwischen des Instruments hängen bleibt. Leider sind auch Fasern vom Tuch daran hängen geblieben, sodass es jetzt etwas fusselig aussieht. Da aber jedes Instrument auch wieder anders klingen wird und dieses ansonsten sehr gut geraten ist wollte ich einen Umtausch nicht riskieren.
