Thomann Studio Table XL Black

I bought this based on the other reviews and it seemed to be very good value at under £300. On the positive side, the desk has nice features for storage and cable tidy's at the rear, it looks nice enough too, however after putting it together I noticed when moving it into its position, it was wobbling badly left to right, so I tightened up some of the fixings as I thought this was the cause then realised it was nothing to do with the way I had assembled it, the design is not very good, verging on poor.

I am concerned this desk will fall over at some point and the keyboard shelf does not feel very solid either. Some of the screws did not bite into the base board either, I found this to be frustrating too.

The rotating speaker shelves are a bit of a gimmick, on my old desk I just rotated my monitors if I wanted them at an angle, I think these could also be subject to breaking over time but we shall see.

It's nearly a fantastic desk, but not to have some cross section support struts to secure the long sections is in my opinion a flawed design, hence I have reviewed it as such.

I was looking at desks 3 times this price, so I guess for the price you cannot argue, but I would at least expect it to be more solid though regardless!
