Si vous cherchez un instrument pour débuter ou enrichir humblement votre collection de steel drums avec un 15 notes peut cher, pouvant jouer beaucoup de choses, c'est un choix.
Il ne faut évidemment pas s'attendre à un RAV ou un Guda, les notes ne sont pas vraiment faites pour être jouées avec les doigts (les petits onglets sont mieux mais loin d'être au niveau des maillets), certaines notes sont difficiles à faire sonner et l'acier est généralement trop épais.
Mais, le son est beau et harmonieux, la surface rugueuse permet un jeu à l'ongle.. c'est un instrument impossible à désaccorder (sauf chute) et il ne faut pas trop hésiter à un prix pareil.

Visuellement, il est encore plus beau que sur les photos et très qualitatif (plutôt grand d'ailleurs).
La sacoche fournie est d'une qualité étonnante, la fine bandoulière mise à part.
Dans l'ensemble, c'est donc pour un instrument si peu cher et fabriqué en série chinoise, un choix honnête.

Als quasi-kleiner Bruder der bekannteren "Hand Pans", eignet sich diese Zungentrommel ideal um in die DUR Tonleiter einzusteigen.
So verwandelt unsere Tochter (9) jedes Lied zu einer meditativ klingende Melodie. Einfach schön und auch für Kinder eine schöne, schnelle Lernkurve mit hoher Motivation!
Der Vorteil ist, dass trotz des geringen Maßes die Zungentrommel einen sehr voluminösen und ordentlichen Ton macht. Eine lang ausklingender fülliger Ton pro Note kann also ruhigen Gewissens erwartet werden. - Kein blecherndes oder allzu kurzer Ton, wie es die meisten kleineren Vertreter abbilden.

Die Zungentrommel ist sehr gut verarbeitet - sollte aber nach Abholung/Lieferung auf Fehlklänge geprüft werden. Das Case wirkt robust und passt ideal auch für den längeren Reisetransport. Anschlagshilfen und gummierte Drums gehören auch zum Lieferumfang dazu.
