Sound fairly clean and not too loud, which was what I was hoping as I bought one for each of my 3 sons, and the can actually make some pretty cool music with it.

This is a great product for the money. To be honest I played recorder in school and the 20-30 pound recorder I had isn't far off these recorders. Unbelievable value for money, will get the kids started in music without breaking the bank. Thanks Guys!
